O propósito deste blog é de ajudar brasileiros (e outros lusófonos de todas as latitudes) a aprenderem o inglês. Em princípio, vai ser um blog bilingüe. Desta forma, espero que sirva tanto para o estudante avançado, que pode perfeitamente ler a versão inglesa sem qualquer hesitação, o iniciante, e o intermediário, que pode tentar o texto em inglês mas tem dúvidas sobre alguma expressão, alguma palavra. E quem sabe, eventualmente pode haver leitores que se interessam por inglês mas não falam português. Por isso, o inglês neste blog vai ser bem simples - simples, mas, espero, não simplório. Como inglês é um tema muito abrangente, espero que tenha de tudo: pronúncia, diferenças culturais, vocabulário, gramática (gosto muito), gíria, tradução, jogos,... a única limitação é a minha criatividade e a sua. Gostaria muito de saber o que você acha desta empreitada, o que você gostaria de ver aqui (dúvidas são muito bem vindas e responderei o melhor que posso), e suas sugestões sobre o conteúdo, o formato, a periodicidade, etc. etc. Até mais!
Welcome!The purpose of this blog is to help Brazilians (and other Portuguese speakers) to learn English. I am planning to make this blog bilingual. In this way, I hope to meet the needs of the advanced learner who really doesn´t need to look at the translation, the intermediate, who reads English but might have some questions, and the beginner who is curious about English but has not yet started to learn it. I will try to make the English on this blog simple, but not simple-minded.
