In the U.S., there is an entire repertoire of music, including both traditional Christmas carols and other music in a variety of styles, revolving around the Christmas holiday season. There are even radio stations that, in December, change their format to Christmas music. One that does is KOLA 99.9, San Bernardino, California, and as I write these lines, I am listening to Irving Berlin's classic "White Christmas" in Bing Crosby's inimitable rendition.
